Marivold Camping is beautifully located at the far end of the entrance to Grimstad, surrounded by the magnificent southern archipelago. Here, real camping joy is combined with fantastic nature experiences, where you can enjoy both quiet summer days and active holiday experiences.

With us you will find a large and well-equipped campsite with space for caravans, motorhomes and tents, open from 1 April to 30 September. In addition, we have 10 cozy cabins that are available all year round, perfect for both summer holidays and wintry coastal adventures.

Marivold is a modern, high-quality campsite, with facilities such as an adapted fishing pier, great hiking areas and seven beautiful beaches – perfect for swimming, sunbathing and lazy days on the beach.

For those who like an active outdoor life, we offer fishing experiences from the pier, as well as fantastic hiking opportunities both along the coast and in the surrounding forest areas. The bathing boat Østerøy arrives in Marivold three times a week, and gives you the opportunity to go island hopping and discover new swimming spots in Grimstad's archipelago. If you prefer land activities, you will find a golf course only 3 km away, and at Midt-Tjore Gård you can experience a unique alpaca hike.

In the surrounding area there are also exciting experiences for those who appreciate handicrafts and taste experiences. Spinnerigården is open every Wednesday and offers quality products made from spelssau wool, while Grimstad Brenneri invites you to a tour and tasting of their award-winning gin and aquavit.

At the campsite you will find a nice summer restaurant – "Osterkilen Mad og Vinstue" – where you can enjoy tasty dishes with a view of the sea. We also have our own electric car charging, so you can always keep the car ready for new adventures. 🚗🔌
